Job Description:
Thriving manufacturer of pin and sleeve connectors, safety
interlocks, industrial control panels, and related equipment is
seeking a Technical Customer Service Representative to join our
team in Corona, CA
We are conveniently located right off the freeway where the 71 and
91 meet and once you get there you are greeted by a friendly group
that really cares about one another and wins together.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated and responsible for
the preparation of quotations, gathering customer information,
processing purchase orders and sending out order acknowledgment
follow-up, which will contribute to a growing manufacturing
company.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
?Prepare quotations, gather customer information, process purchase
orders and send out order acknowledgment follow-up.
?Pro-actively communicate with customer regarding order status,
delivery information and shipment schedules.
?Responsible for all aspects of a customer?s RFQ.
?Understand and interpret customer?s technical requirements and
communicate with customer regarding basic electrical design
issues.
?Responsible for inputting P/N data and the development of the cost
sheet. Consult with the Engineering Department to create a Catalog
Number (and Item #) which will meet the project requirements.
?Utilize Goldmine (CRM package), MAS200 (accounting package), and
other programs to maintain accurate records of all sales calls and
correspondence with customers and prospects, ensuring all
communications meet the professional standards of the company.
?Participate in a weekly Sales/Production meeting, provides updates
to the SO report and works seamlessly with Customer Service,
Purchasing, Engineering and Production to keep jobs on time, on
budget, and customers satisfied.
?Assist other members of the team as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
?Motivated, self-starter and very detail-orientated (comfortable
with numbers/math).
?Experienced communicator with ?professional? communication skills
(written and oral).
?Technical aptitude, attention to detail, ability to multi-task,
and engaged in their work.
?Ability to work independently, but also in a team and a
self-starter with a positive attitude.
?Displays initiative and has experience with making recommendations
and finding solutions when a problem arises.
?Computer literate - must be adept in MS Outlook, Word, and
Excel.
?Understands mechanical & electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and
basic knowledge of electrical power is a plus.
Experience Required:
2-5 yrs Cust service
