Job Description:
A company is looking for a Staff Software Engineer,
Networking.
Key Responsibilities:
Improve Firefox's web browsing experience focusing on the
networking stack and related protocols
Design and implement new web platform features in collaboration
with the web community
Diagnose and fix problems in multi-threaded code and
platform-specific networking issues
Required Qualifications:
8+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
Skilled in C++ and Rust, with proficiency in other programming
languages
Experience with HTTP protocols and implementations (HTTP/2, HTTP/3,
QUIC, TLS)
Experience in high-level system design, project planning, and
roadmap strategy
Experience working on a cross-platform native application
