• Certifications REQUIRED: ACLS and BLS (AHA only), MAB, NIH, PALS
  • Job Details
  • ER RN for fast-paced ER at Community Hospital.
  • No new grads, no 1st time travelers.
  • 2 years' experience required.
  • Qualified candidates have at least 18 months experience as core staff in first nursing job.
  • History of extended assignments a plus.
  • Will not accept travelers with history of cancels.
  • 24 hours orientation.
  • Minimum weekend coverage is every other weekend.
  • Provider support includes interpretation services, lift teams, pharmacy, phlebotomy, physical therapy, radiology, respiratory services, social services, and unit secretary.
  • Provider coverage includes Intensivist, NP, Hospitalist, and Anesthesiologist.

    • Experience required: General Emergency Department-Combined Adult/Pedi; Interpretation/Management of dysrhythmias; BPA; Central line care/management; Starting IVs; Continuous IV Sedation; IV Vasopressors; CVA; CPAP/BiPAP; Ventilated patients; Isolation precautions; Triage
    • Experience preferred: Stroke Certified Facility; Arterial line management; Phlebotomy; Procedural Sedation Administration; ICP monitoring; Neuro-trauma; Spinal cord injury; Traumatic brain injury; Ortho-trauma; Head injury; Near drowning; Spinal Cord Injury; Interpretation of ABGs; Gunshot Wounds; Traumatic amputations
