Job Description:
A company is looking for a Behavioral Health Care Advocate
(Utilization Management) to manage and review behavioral health and
substance abuse cases.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and administer behavioral health benefits for facility-based
care
Utilize clinical assessments to determine appropriate levels of
care and evaluate additional clinical services needed
Coordinate benefits and transitions between various levels of care
and assist in identifying community-based services for discharge
planning
Required Qualifications
Independently licensed clinician with a Master's degree in
Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related discipline, or an
RN with 2+ years of behavioral health experience
Licenses must be independent, active, and unrestricted in the state
of residence
2+ years of experience in a related mental health environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite programs
Willingness to work occasional holidays and accommodate changes in
working hours as needed
